Join us in person at The William Penn Charter School or via Zoom. This program was created to help participants enhance their practice, deepen its role in their lives, and build a community of practitioners who can grow together. It explores the interpersonal, psychological, and spiritual dimensions of mindfulness practice through communication exercises, discussions, and an open investigation of life as it arises in the moment.
Periods of intensive practice offer us the time and space to see what is hidden below the surface and wants to be known. Deepen your experience of yourself and your world.
Join a group of like-minded mindfulness practitioners at Pendle Hill Retreat Center in Wallingford, PA.
Follow your own path
We offer individual mindfulness instruction both for those who want to begin a practice and those who want to take the next steps to deepen their practice and its impact in their lives.
We rest on the foundation of experience and the wisdom of others who came before us.

Dr. Baime with the 17th Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje
“The community that we’ve created is the thing that I am most proud of.”
Michael Baime developed the Penn Program for Mindfulness in 1991 and over the next 35 years participated in important research regarding the role of mindfulness in education and healthcare. Under his direction, the Penn Program for Mindfulness taught over 30,000 people the practice of mindfulness and trained countless facilitators in the art of guiding others. In his early twenties, Dr. Baime began the study of Vajrayana Buddhism, first with Chögyam Trungpa and then with Khenpo Tsultrim. He continues to pursue advanced practices within his lineage and is hoping that his “retirement” will provide space to disconnect and be in retreat for prolonged periods. He is committed to providing opportunities for mindfulness practitioners to connect and support each other so everyone who wants to can have a sangha that they can call home.
